'Wherever
You Are.....Be There'
A project by Volcano (Poole Arts Centre's Photography and Digital Visual Arts Development Programme. Gareth McConnell (local photographer) was commissioned to undertake an artists residency, working with residents to create a series of portraits which expressed their experiences. Residents developed an understanding of an artists working practice and developed photographic skills. Images were made over a 12 week period during summer 2001 and exhibited in the Poole Arts Centres gallery.
